Businesses
What the Businesses page is for
Section titled “What the Businesses page is for”Use Businesses to build and review the list of companies you want to work on.
This page supports three main tasks:
- add businesses manually
- source candidates from Google Places and import them
- start an agent from one or more selected businesses
Add a business manually
Section titled “Add a business manually”Use Add business when you already know the company you want in Waldo.
You can enter:
- business name
- website
- notes
Manual add is useful when the source is not Google Places or when you only need to seed the record quickly.
Source businesses from Google Places
Section titled “Source businesses from Google Places”Use Find businesses when you want candidate companies from a search query.
The flow is:
- Enter a query.
- Optionally enter a location.
- Review the returned candidates.
- Select the businesses you want.
- Import them into Waldo.
Start an agent from selected businesses
Section titled “Start an agent from selected businesses”Select one or more businesses and click Start agent.
Waldo will build page context from the selected business metadata and include that context in the agent start request.
This is useful when you want Waldo to work from known records instead of from a blank chat.
Examples:
- compare several target accounts
- summarize a selected set of businesses
- run a saved prompt across a small group of companies
Open a business detail page
Section titled “Open a business detail page”Business rows link to a business detail view. Use that page when you want to inspect a single business more closely before starting a narrower agent session.
Search and selection
Section titled “Search and selection”The page supports:
- searching businesses by name or source query
- selecting the visible businesses on the current page
- deleting selected businesses
Selection matters because it controls which business data Waldo packages into agent context.
