Introduction

Waldo helps you source businesses, manage contacts, send outreach, and start agent sessions when you need research, analysis, or drafting help.

The product is organized around a few main surfaces:

  • Dashboard for activity and recent progress
  • Agents for freeform chat, saved prompts, and session history
  • Businesses for sourcing and managing target companies
  • Contacts for contact records and batch outreach
  • Messages for threads, replies, and scheduled sends
  • Settings for Gmail, model, API keys, tracking, and message patterns

Agents are immediate-start sessions. There is no queue to manage and no background handoff step to wait on. You either:

  • start a freeform chat session, or
  • start from a saved prompt

Some pages can also attach page context to the session. For example, the Businesses page can send the selected business metadata along with the start request.

Saved prompts are reusable instructions for repeatable agent workflows. They stay separate from page context, so the same prompt can be reused from multiple surfaces.

Each run is stored as an agent session. Session details include:

  • the session summary
  • the prompt parts sent to OpenCode
  • a link to open the session in OpenCode
  • an event timeline of successful Waldo mutations performed during that run

Google Places is a sourcing tool, not an agent entrypoint. You use it to search for candidate businesses and import the records you want into Waldo. Starting an agent is always a separate action.

  1. Connect a Gmail account.
  2. Add optional API keys in Settings for Perplexity and Google Places.
  3. Add businesses manually or import them from Google Places.
  4. Start an agent from the Agents page or from selected businesses.
  5. Use Contacts and Messages to turn findings into outreach.
